In this program each student is assessed by our learning specialist. A program is then designed to meet each child individual need. Teachers at Elite Tutoring Center don't just tutor, they teach concepts for understanding. This program is designed for students who are borderline or failing. Depending on the level of the student, there may be a maximum of three student per session.
This program is offered between 1 to 2 hours per week.

Phonics Reading Academy for 5 and 6 years old (This program is for non-reader)
This program is available on Saturdays
In this program your 5 and 6 years old will learn how to blend sounds to increase fluency in reading. We focus on the short vowel sound in addition to the consonants. This program consists of 16 sessions. If students complete all homework assignment which consist of writing sentences, study for weekly spelling test, they will be able to read.
Disclosure: Students who are not able to identify the 26 letters of the alphabet or consonant sounds will require more than 16 sessions to learn how to read. A pretest will determine if your child falls in this category.
This program is not a substitute for childcare. In this program students are expected to do their homework. This program is for students who are smart, but lacks motivation. It provides students with a learning environment free from the distraction of television, or video games. This program have had successful results with our students attitude toward school.
This program is not designed for students who are failing is school due to deficiency in concepts.
Test Prep/Sat Prep (Short Term)
This program is designed for teens and adults learners who need help with their midterm or test prep. Our objective is to help our students gain a better understanding of the concepts. We use real life example to explain certain concepts.
SAT students are required to meet two times a week. In the first sessions, student learn concepts ad are given sample test as homework. In the second session, the students review homework and are given test shortcuts and technique to increase speed.
